GRATITUDE TO OUR PARTNERS IN OUR CHILDREN’S LEARNING JOURNEY

We at Klorofeel Foundation would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ms Shoba Mohan, Mr P Krishna Mohan, and Ms Jayanthi Ravi for supporting the educational journey of tribal children in Bissamcuttack block of Rayagada district of Odisha.

Their contribution has enabled the provision of physical feature maps and globes to each of the 19 Learning Centres located in 18 villages of the block. The 416 children from grades 1 to 5 who attend these Centres are eagerly exploring the maps and globes. The local youth who facilitate learning at the Centre have found it very convenient to teach environmental science chapters on landforms, weather, our state, country, and the world to the children using the maps and globes. The children continue to learn about their own locality, their state, country, continents, rivers, oceans, mountains, plains, and other kinds of landforms. The visualization of the earth in the form of a sphere, the proportion of water to land in the entire world, and their location on the map have fuelled new imagination in children.

It is always inspiring to see people come together to support education and help children learn about the world around them. I am sure this will immensely contribute to building future citizens of our country.
