VISION
To see a society of socially & ecologically responsible children growing up to be economically independent human beings, across the country.
MISSION
To promote meaningful education for economically underprivileged children.
Concerns and Questions
- We keep reading news items how children are scared of teachers, or school.
- Is it possible for us to change this? That students’ look forward to school and the closing bell is the not the most attractive part of the day?
- There are numerous instances of parents being neglected by their children. There are instances of insensitivity towards the miseries of fellow human beings.
- In India nearly 80% wealth is in the hands of 10% people. Hence, there is greater responsibility and moral obligations on the shoulders of privileged to alleviate the indignities of the teeming million.
- Is our education system building social accountability among our children?
- Consumerism and narrow focus on economic development with consequent degradation of natural resource and environmental pollution have resulted in increased frequency and intensity of natural calamities, climate change, loss of biodiversity and extinction of species.
- Do our schools teach our students to practice life with dignity in their endeavors?
- Does our education system help in adopting ecologically sustainable practices?
